What this check looks at

  • Expertise gets you a seat at the table. How people experience you decides what happens once you sit down.
  • We judge ourselves by what we meant. Everyone else judges us by what they felt.
  • Good people skills are not about pleasing everyone. They are about being understood and understanding others.
  • You will get a score for four parts: make the connection, say it so it lands, read the room and work through friction.
Srdjan Perisic

DISC taught me that most friction at work is not about bad people. It is about different styles that never learned to read each other. I am a D/C, and I had to learn that being direct is not the same as being heard.

Answer for how you actually show up with people. A few statements describe habits that get in the way, so read each one before you choose.

Your next step

A score is a starting point. Change happens in conversation.

If you would like to talk through what this means for you and your team, send me your result. In a one-on-one coaching conversation, we turn it into one or two specific changes you can practice right away. Pairing it with a full DISC assessment shows how your natural style shapes the way you lead, decide and connect with people.
