What this check looks at

  • The clearest sign of trust on a team is simple: people bring you bad news early.
  • Trust is not something you announce. Your team builds its opinion of you one kept or broken promise at a time.
  • When trust slips, nobody tells you. They just start telling you less.
  • You will get a score for four parts of trust: keep your word, tell it straight, have their back and share the wheel.
Srdjan Perisic

The leaders I trusted most did ordinary things every time. They followed up when they said they would, they told me the hard part first and they gave the credit away.

Picture your last month of real work, not how you hope you come across. The gap between the two is where this gets useful.

A score is a starting point. Change happens in conversation.

If you would like to talk through what this means for you and your team, send me your result. In a one-on-one coaching conversation, we turn it into one or two specific changes you can practice right away.
